Call of duty just announced the new season 9, but it is not yet released.

The new season's release date has just been announced, it will be on the 16th of August, 2020.

• Introducing Gunsmith to multiplayer and battle royal.
• Customized weapons can be gotten from air drops in battle royal.
• Loadout is now introduced in battle royal, so no more looting of weapons.

Gun modification found in loot boxes in battle royal and Armour plates are now in battle royal 

New opening scene in battle royal and destination name is now shown while perachuting.
